Álvaro del Fresno is a researcher and artist from Madrid. His work explores the performativity of absence and silence in relation to sexual negativity, psychoanalysis, and performance studies. He curated the program of activities “Sprocketed Syllabus” at Juf, and his artistic work has been presented at Juf (Madrid, 2023), Matadero (Madrid, 2022–2023), FieldNotes Journal (London, 2022), the Instituto Cervantes in London and Manchester (London, 2022), and Tate Modern (London, 2019), among others. In 2023, he received the Injuve Creation Grant together with Daniel Flórez for their project Dusted!.

Daniel Flórez is a performer and drag artist whose practice stages the intersection of class, gender, race, and sexuality, employing cumulative techniques of excess, signification, and melodrama. At the same time, his performances are characterized by their attention to the spatial politics that shape nightlife in transmaribibollera communities, insisting on alternative models of self-management and clandestinity.
